Who is love songs for angry men

Story

Nick Hensley (LSFAM, Jameson Brown, The District, Tales of a Porcelain Cat) Vocals, Harmonica, Guitar

Nick Hensley is the former lead singer and co creator of The District, a regional act from the upper Midwest, co based out of

St. Paul, MN and Chicago, IL.  He created Love Songs For Angry Men shortly after The District called it quits in 2002.

Hensley’s alias, stage name and alter ego, Love Songs For Angry Men, was born as a joke on the editor of the City Pages

(… along w/ Amish Puppy Mill, and Billy’s Little Secret).

Unfortunately, for he and his band members, 10 years later… …THE NAME WON’T GO AWAY!

Hensley’s 3 STUDIO ALBUMS were released (in 2009, 2014 and 2019) to sold out crowds in Saint Paul and Mpls, MN

The albums are available at all major retailers and the web.  All three records have received several rave reviews from different media

outlets including a 4 star review from Paste Magazine and AltCountry.com and a “best of” 2014 local selection of the City Pages.

Nick Hensley and the Love Songs For Angry Men have maintained a full schedule since 2002, playing & often hosting, more than 250

shows a year. They have shared the stage with several National acts including: The Why Store, Alex Ligertwood of Santana, Fastball,

Big Head Todd and The Monsters, The Gear Daddies, The Samples, The Pines, Semisonic, Trampled By Turtles, John Hiatt,

The Wallflowers, Soul Asylum and countless others.

Hensley, who is also a booking agent, is an avid supporter of local MN music.  In turn, he has created some of Minnesota’s most popular

Music Showcases including MNaked and the MN Songwriter Showcase (both of which have been running for more than 14 years now!).

LSFAM is not only my favorite local band, but Nick is a friend of mine and I encourage everyone to check them out next time you are in the Twin Cities.   My wife and I try to take in as many shows as we can, and although those nights out look a little different now, they are just as much fun.  Please support Nick and Love Songs For Angry Men by clicking their logo above and visiting their site.
